Hands Full
September 05, 2008 – Since Tuesday we start to have some fall weather with up to 3 consecutive days of over cast and rainy conditions which are excellent for tarpon fishing in the lagoons. A grate example was the last couple of days with some boats landing average 4 to 6 tarpon between 50 up to 100 pound on 3 to 4 hours of fishing morning. Hanas clouds and rain were able to affect us with up 5 inches of rain and a lot of big tarpon. Yesterday morning we had 13 bites of tarpon up to 120 pound and lading 6 on 4 hours of fishing, the smallest about 50 and the biggest 85. We still have plenty of days open in Oct.
Last weekend fishing deep sea we raise only one blue marlin around 500 pounds…. look the bait and left, no bite…. nothing but a window shopper. This coming weekend is the second most important tournament in the Island on the blue marlin circuit, Cangrejos Yacht Club Tournament , good luck.
