Welcome to the Tarpon's Nest Lodge! We are Puerto Rico's first and only lodge catering exclusively to the discriminating angler and their families. Situated directly on the water in the picturesque mangrove forests of Loiza, the Tarpon's Nest Lodge is conveniently located within 10 minutes of San Juan's airport, fine dining, casinos and historic attractions, and a 5-minute walk to some of the Caribbean's most picturesque beaches and landscapes. Opened in 2012, the Tarpon's Nest lodge boast brand new facilities and all the modern conveniences of the top luxury fishing resorts in the world.

The Tarpon's Nest facilities provide our guests direct water access to the one of the top 14 destinations for tarpon in the world, as listed by Sport Fishing Magazine. Anglers are greeted at the dock each morning by our seasoned local & American captains who will be ready for the action with top of the line Shimano tackle, pristine bay boats with 4 stroke engines, Owner hooks and fluorocarbon leaders along with a cooler full of cold beverages. For fly casters we provide Sage rods & Tibor Reels with intermediate and floating lines, along with all the correct flies. After a hot and active fishing day The Tarpon's Nest Lodge's friendly staff will be waiting for you at the "Class Tippet Bar" right by our refreshing pool with your favorite tropical drink. Or, grab a complimentary kayak and do some more exploring on your own!

The world-class accommodations at the Tarpon's Nest Lodge feature spacious rooms, most with stunning views of the backcountry lagoons and waterways. Bedrooms contain air conditioning, a single queen bed featuring luxurious linens, pillows and extremely comfortable mattresses. They are also equipped with wi-fi, Dish Network, plasma TV, and a phone in every room. Steps from your bed you have your own private modern/European bathroom fully outfitted with luxurious towels & SPA type products. We have 10 single queen bedrooms and 1 room with a king bed, bed sofa and a bigger bathroom to fit a total 4 people with a beautiful view to the pool, lagoon and dock.

We can arrange transportation to the historic Old Town, the El Yunque rainforest and most of the spectacular attractions Puerto Rico has to offer. From the moment the sun rises over the Atlantic until the moon sets on the lagoons, exhilarating new adventures await!
